I thank God for giving me bad internet connection so that I could stop watching YouTube and try listening to Dr. Ed Gross’ message on letting love win through me.  His message spoke to me.  I am reminded that God’s love is the point.  It’s so easy to get distracted or even to think that I need to share my love instead of God’s.

This is how you buy a Martin for the best price.

WOW GEETARS CAN BE EXPENSIVE!  SAVE SOME $!

1. You can buy Martins and other guitars for 40% off from small dealers.  These dealers can’t advertise their prices on their website, but their websites usually say something like, “SO LOW WE CAN’T SHOW YOU! email us. XP”.

2. Guitar Center says they will match a lower price offered by any authorized Martin dealer, but when you actually go in to take them up on their offer, they can give you a really hard time about it.  Sad :(

3. There’s no sales tax when you purchase something online from another state.

I will raid the fridge and then go to sleep. It’s already Sunday!!

Your loneliness is not a mark of your imperfection but rather your perfection

williszhang:

Our loneliness and desire to be understood by others should prompt an “aha!” that yes! We were made to be in community to reflect the perfect community of the trinitarian God - father, son and holy spirit all joyfully pleasing the other in a communal dance.

That means “no” to a solo Christian walk this summer, guys! :) Serve the local kingdom in accordance to your savior’s example and promise to bless you tenfold in return.

Not sure that I’ve ever been so honored to introduce someone as I am right now.
Gac Filipaj is a refugee from the former Yugoslavia. For the past twelve years, he has worked as a janitor for Columbia University.  His job title is “Heavy Cleaner,” which includes emptying the trash and cleaning the toilets.
During this time, he worked until 11pm every night during the week.  After his shift concluded, he would start studying.  This weekend, after twelve years of study, Gac graduated from Columbia University with a Classics degree.  Rarely have so many qualities I admire been wrapped up in a single person.graduated with honors.

It took him 20 years. And he graduated with honors.
